Legal Solutions Analyst (Ballard Spahr LLP)

Ballard Spahr is seeking an experienced Legal Solutions Analyst to join a multi-faceted team of technology innovators who are focused on providing an impactful difference in the practice of law and client service. While the Legal Solutions Analyst's primary focus will be on the automation of legal and other practice-related documents, some integration with other services provided by the Client Value and Innovation team is anticipated. Team collaboration, open minds and creative thinking drive our success and culture. This position offers the potential for a remote work arrangement and can be located in any Ballard location with the expectation to work in the office, as needed.

The Legal Solutions Analyst will:

  • Automate the delivery of quality, error free documents using document automation tools.
  • Ensure the formatting of all output conforms to firm standards.
  • Communicate with subject matter experts to customize and tailor the automated documents as needed by that particular practice group.
  • Provide post implementation support as required.

The successful candidate shall possess proficiency of technical and administrative skills, assume responsibility with minimal supervision, exercise initiative and demonstrate judgment to make decisions within the scope of their assigned authority.

 

Bachelor’s degree and 1-3 years of experience working in a legal setting required, J.D. a plus. Experience using document automation technology such as Contract Express or similar applications strongly preferred.  Advanced skills in MS Office with a focus on MS Word is required.  Experience using AI technology such as Ravn/iManage Extract or similar applications desired.
